Moog CC844? CC844S? Help.

I am going to level the front end of my truck and I have heard plenty about these springs from an F350, question is that there's two types at Oreillys. Which one? Links below.

Planning to do the same with my F-150 soon & I believe the CC844 is the one you want, not the "s".

Cc844 is what I went with and Monroe gas magnums and love the ride not to stiff. One problem the front sits higher than the rear

How much higher is the front than the rear with the Moog CC844s?

The "S" is a severe service spring. Some trucks have figtment issues because that spring is a touch wider IIRC. I have the 844 and love them.

Ok I picked up Moog 844's today from Oreillys for a total of $112.49. Gunna start a new thread on the installation process as I can't seem to find one already. Also I think it will help the people just trying to find answers without having to start a new thread. Will include pictures and description, before and after pictures.

Also as far as the front sitting too high, how much? And I'm sure an Add-a-Leaf will help or if needed a block in the rear.

My Bronco sits nice and level now. However I did install a bikini top so I lost alot of weight in the back.

I put the 844's on my '96 several months ago. Raised the front 1.5 inches. Not quite level but close. Love these springs.

It was an easy swap. You shouldn't run into any problems.

Thanks, Prof. Is your truck 2wd or 4wd? What engine do you have?

How is the ride now, compared to the stock springs? Is it much rougher?

It is 4x4. 300 6 with manual everything. Regular cab, long bed.

I think the ride is stiffer, but not as harsh, if that makes sense. The factory springs had 220,000 on them and were shot, so they would hit the bump stops every time I hit a bump or pot hole of any size. The new ones are obviously stiffer, but they don't bottom out which makes the ride not as harsh.

I think I'm going to spring for a set of the CC844 Tomorrow from O'rielly's (pun intended). Just measured my '95 F-150 4x4 excab flareside w/ 5.0 and the front sits exactly 2.0"s lower than the rear. Hoping these will get close to level without going over. Just put new Monroe gas magnums on last weekend and those made a real nice difference in the ride quality already. Just want to eliminate some, if not most of the 2" rake. 139K on the stock springs & I'm sure they're ready for some relief.

Any updates from any of you fellas that have done this recently?

Put the "CC844" springs on my 2wd almost a year ago. Lifted it up about 1.5" like said before, but didn't quite level it out, still a little lean. I have been debating whether or not to throw some coil spacers in there, to make it a little higher than the rear.

1.5" higher in the front would be perfect for what I'm looking to achieve. Thanks!

Why would anyone want the front higher than the rear?

In still debating what springs. Thinking Superlift.

If I get Moogs it'll be 844, not 844S.

The Monroe Gas Magnum is a good shock.

No idea! Would look like you're squatting to pee IMO. But... to each their own.
