Got the old resistor out this morning and making a stop at the shack after work to pick up a few important items. And recommendations for solder and what not?

Don't recall the actual size...Radio Shack carry's a very thin solder that contains silver.
Use that, flows quickly and at low temp.
this is the site i used when i did my mod.
http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/84...ml#post7805706
go to page 4 that where i asked what solder to use.

hope this helps

Got the IDM all sealed up, goin to put it back in tomorrow or this evening. Also made a DIY boost leak tester. Goin to hook it up tomorrow and see if I can find me some leaks. I mounted a gauge on the PVC cap so as I am putting air to it I can watch the PSI at the same time.

Took the rig for a spin. Didn't notice a big difference other than a little smoother idle. I was able to get 17psi boost @ 3k rpms in 4th though. I heard the Cali split injectors have more spray than the non Cali single shot. Is that true?? Non Cali are around 95 cc and the Cali over 100cc??? Does that mean I can get more from the stock Cali injectors as compared to the non Cali injectors??? Just a thought.

AA injectors are 90cc non Cali
AB injectors are 120cc Cali
AD injectors are 140cc super duty
To run AB or AD in a non Cali truck you will have to have tuning for split shot injectors

I have a Cali truck, so will the AD injectors installed in my truck need a tuner?? That's about as much spray as a stage 1 single shot??? Should be able to get some pretty decent #'s out of that much spray with the addition of a tuner. I was thinking about goin with stage 1's or possibly stage 2's and a tuner, but I think by the looks of things I think a tuner or custom switch on the fly chip would make a huge difference. After I put my 35's on I am looking at goin with a chip or tuner.

Pretty easy when u got good tips from some seasoned veterans. After I get my 315 75r16 put on this bad boy then i am goin for a f6 chip from DPtuner. been scoping out some stacks and intercooler options too.

Ya, I trust they guys on here more than myself. That's why it took so long to do the mod. Did it one handed (sorta)because I broke my Index finger on my left hand.
