Wink Really cool idea involving your health, wife, and truck

So my wife and I started doing that P90X workout thing together a little over a week ago to loose weight and get in better shape. This morning my wife said "I was thinking, after I loose 10 pounds I'd like to buy some knew shoes" I said OK, then she says "and when you loose 10 pounds you could get something for your truck" I said OK! Then she said "My shoes are about $100 bucks so you can get something for that amount too"....I said SOUNDS GOOD! Then she said "When we reach our goal weight we can get something else"...

I just wanted to share this because it really does help my wife and I both when we set little goals like this. Working out together brings us closer together and helps us stay active more often (if that makes sense lol). My father was 54 when he had a quadruple bypass heart surgery and I do not want that to happen to me. Neither does my wife.

I was blown away when she said $100 bucks, it must be because its income tax season LOL

Great idea Reed! My stepson has that P90X. I haven't touched it, but he is very physically fit and he said it kicks his butt! That scares me...

Great idea. I need to try that myself--getting hard to tell if I am rolling or walking

Me too...lol, I could just see myself in that!
I have a bicycle that I religiously ride in the summer but up here in the winter with four feet of snow it is too hard plowing so I got to do something else. Laying off the beer helps!

This is how I achieve my goals:I buy whatever my stock truck needs to keep it on the road.If a complaint is lodged,I remind her how for almost the last 15 years I've not had a truck payment, and show her what the final cost on buying a new truck, including financing would be.She then offers to go to the parts-house to personally courier my selection to me, or phone in my order to one of the catalog suppliers.

100.00? What's that,the new penny?

That's so true haha, I remind my wife about the same thing when she makes a compliment about how expensive my truck is. And ain't that the truth about $100 bucks not being that much money when it comes to restoring these old trucks lol. but hey it's better than nothing lol
