Rebuilding Front End of Truck(pics heavy)

Hello to all fellow members. Two weeks ago, I started this rebuilding 'journey' by picking up a D60 from a guy. I then replaced the ball joints and axle U joints on it and then gave it a fresh coat of POR 15. So I pulled the truck into the shop, dropped the D50, and proceeded to instal the D60. It was then when I saw how rusty all of the leaf spring hangers and shackles were. So that put a halt to my progress while I tracked down rust free front leaf shackles and hangers. Ford discontinued the back hangers. So while the truck was going to be down this long, I figured that I would make it worth while. I knew I need to take my transmission cooler out that was in between my intercooler and a/c condenser. So I tore it all down, and am mounting the intercooler closer. Also I got PSD moulding for my bumper and made the cut outs and put it in - I will probably put that in another thread. The pics start from the beginning to current.

wow your going right to town there too snapon.looking good!
now with them holes in the bumper, you'll actually have a functioning reason for 'em with the inter cooler.
that black stuff sure should help hold 'em together for us for a few more years!
now you'll need to lift up the back end a bit to match that D60.

this is how both sides of mine are too:
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...e/IMG_4428.jpg but only on the outsides.not inward in the structure part like you had to repair.
but looks like they don't do much,so i didn't repair 'em.i just smothered 'em with por so it stops.
hard to tell cus their rusted out,but looks like it was thin sheet metal there to start with.
my main issue was down on the mounts.still good and solid, but probably someday during ownership i'll need to repair.

Actually my back end is already f350 height. It had 8 leafs in the back and 3 in the front when I bought it. And the 2inch blocks are still in there so I think I am at f350 height.

Yeah I put POR 15 all over it, especially down where the rad. support bushing bolt goes down. I was glad my core support was repairable, if not - it would have been a $700 bill.

I beat them out and then got the press to install them.
