88 ford f 150
Hello, i have a 1988 ford f 150, it has a cleveland 351
the transmission is bad and i am looking for a new one.
i was wondering if any c-6 transmission will work for my truck or what types will work? Do i need a certain type or model or something? or what other transmissions out of other engines will fir in mine?
if any knows and can help me it will be greatly appreciated.
thank you

Any tranny from any of the following engines will bolt right up to yours.
- 300 inline 6, 302 or 351.

351 W or C are the same patern. Diesel has it's own unique patern, and big block is 400/429 and 460.

No. A 351 is a 351, and it shares the same bolt patern as the small block family.

No... the Cleveland uses a small block trans bolt pattern.
