Guys I couldn't keep this place a secret. I went to a gentlemens house looking for parts for my 78 F150 today and it turns out he had everything I need and more! He has at least 50 to 80 Ford trucks from the sixties through the eighties!!!! I was in HOG HEAVEN! I'm going to give you his name and number and you can give hime a call if you need parts for your truck. This is just a hobby for him and he has a full time job but , he is really a nice and cordial guy. I think he would be a great canidate for the Arkansas Chapter and I told him about it, Maybe he will join!
Eric Isbill is his name, his home phone is (870) 931-1092 and his cell phone is (870) 974-2379 And what is best of all, he is in Jonesboro, Arkansas!
I wasn't really sure what forum to put this in. Hope this forum is okay.
My uncle knows a guy here (jonesboro) that has a lot of old fords and he has been trying to help me find the place and I've combed the whole side of that road and come up empty. This might be the same guy. I went today with the newest clue and spent an hour looking for him. I hadnt been very vocal on here for a while and saw this thread. My jaw hit the floor when I read the first post!!! Any chance you have his address? If so could you PM it to me? I need a list of things and all the junk yards here dont have anything from the 70's anymore. This has been like a treasure hunt without a map!!!
I'll take lots of pictures if I ever get there haha
I just realized the guy's contact info was posted there and I could call him myself. My brain is scrambled due to work being nuts. I picked a hell of a time to quit drinking...
Just got home from this guys place. SUPER nice guy and he knows a lot about Ford trucks and he has plenty to work with. I got two doors and a bumper I am supposed to pick up tomorrow along with a couple bolts/clips. I didnt get pictures but will see about that tomorrow. I mentioned finding his number on here and he said "a guy from Hardy" had talked with him about posting it. He seems to have enjoyed the advertisement. I'll hit him up for pictures tomorrow but what would yall like pics of? He has lots of 70's and 80's models. We had to look a while to find doors that were better than mine with no rust, but eventually we did find them.
Good to see your still kicking Derfus, I know exactly what you mean about working keeping you busy. Now that weather is starting to warm up...things are getting busy at work for me. Oh well, could be worse....

Andy is looking for a extended cab/crew cab 4WD truck (early '70s I think) in reasonably good shape to "play with". Might keep an eye open for one of those.
Not that I'm currently working on it....but if he just happens to have some Ranchero parts, I could use the contact information for a later date.

I'm still around. Just got home. Not sure these doors are "better" than mine now but I'll give them a good look tomorrow but I got a decent stock rear bumper that'll make climbing into the back MUCH easier.
He has several supercabs but I didnt see any crewcabs. I saw in a thread somewhere on here where a guy was looking for a crew and I knew where one was sitting and asked a friend to see if it was still there and she said she didnt see it today. It was a 2wd and from the road it looked really straight. Next time I head that way I'll look and see. I know there is a guy in Quitman that has a really nice crew 4x4 but I bet he is pretty proud of it and may not even be interested in selling it.
