I have a new 2011 F-150 Supercrew 4X4. Does anyone know if there is a relatively easy way to disengage the chime for buckling your seatbelt? I always wear my seatbelt when on the road and am not asking this so I can be a law breaker. However, I spend a lot of time in my truck never leaving the ranch...slow MPH and getting in an out opening gates, etc. I dont need a seatbelt on plus it is a hassle and the chime is driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated. THANKS

 

yes, check your owner's manual for instructions on how to disable it!

 

what he said^. I believe it is called beltminder, it's fairly straight forward. It requires you to insert and remove the seat belt into the socket several times as well as turning the ignition on and off a few times, at least that's how it's been from 1999-2010, and i don't see a reason for them to change it.
