do I have one or not? I cant seem to find it...my blower motor for the heater seems to be very weak and I was wondering if there may be a clogged cabin air filter...anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Not sure what could cause your problem, but these trucks do not have cabin air filters.

Does changing between defrost, dash vents, and floor make any difference and does the air get redirected? It's possible the controls are not working (vacuum) and causing the fan to be mostly obstructed. Also, is the fan louder than it should be and sound like a lot of air should be moving, or is it quiet?

The cabin filter was a "dealer installed option". I am not aware of any coming from the factory with them.
And unfortunately, so few dealers would mention they are available or install them, Ford discontinued offering the kits. I still search in vain.... Somewhere, somebody has to have a kit gathering dust on a shelf....

i dont understand why ford doesn't have cabin air filters? i hate it when im driving down the road in the summer and a farmer is plowing and then you get a blast of dirt right in your face from the a/c! id pay fifty bucks for a cabin filter if i had to replace it just for that reason.

it does change where the air is directed as it should...fan is real quiet and just seems like it does not have very much punch behind it...thanks for the replies...thats why this is a go to website for a super duty owner!
