Considering getting an F150 or Bronco
Hey all, nice forum and gallery you guys have here... seems like a great resource and a friendly place.
I'm a 21 year old college student in New York City and when I'm on break, I live on Long Island with my parents. I've been wanting to buy my own car cause I don't like being dependent on others and I'm not a fan of my dad's Wrangler Unlimited... it's fun in snow, but it lacks cargo room. I'm a studio art major and I really enjoy metal and wood working, and hope to get a job relating to those fields after I graduate. I also need something that could tow my 96 Suzuki King Quad ATV (I know anything could tow it, probably) but I was wondering if I were to get a pickup truck I could probably transport it in the bed, right?
I don't have a lot of money right now, but I've got a job and a few things around I could sell so my budget would be around $6k, $7k max.
I really like the looks of the 92-96 F series and Broncos. The newer ones I don't care much about. I also read that these trucks are very reliable and was wondering if you could offer me some input on what are some common problems with them other than rust.
I prefer 4WD due to NY winters and some offroading (nothing crazy though), and auto. Lower mileage the better, obviously. Thanks so much for your help.

Welcome to FTE! Since you're considering a 92-96 vintage truck, I would recommend that you post here: 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums.
The folks there will be better equipped to handle your questions.
