I got a great deal on the 33's! I do get rubbing on the radius arms on tight turns but I'll just do a K turn if need be when I am out wheeling!

No lift that i know of, but the front springs may be leveling springs, as the truck sits perfectly level. I have 33x12.50's BFG A/t's on stock wheels.

That got me thinking the last time we were talking about ride heights on these trucks... My truck sits high and level. I'm thinking the PO may have put levelers on the front. I remember the shorter pair of the four front shocks being tight to put on when I did them.

Somewhere around stock, 31x10.50's.

Same cab, different chassis:

35's, 2" bl on the cab, bed got none due to being very beat up.

And, just for the heck of it, 3"bl, 3"suspension, a bunch of missing fender and a relocated front axle:

44's.... LOL

I know this is an older thread, but you can't ever have enough "stance" pictures. They are invaluable when buying lifts and tires and wheels for your truck. That is why i am bringing it back.

The first couple pics are with a 4" suspension lift and 31x10.50's on 15x8 rims

These next couple of pics are with 33x12.50's on 15x10's

I wish i would of done more research before making all my purchases. In my opinion, you need a 6" lift for 33x12.50s to have a balanced look. i am going back to the 31x10.50's i had before, and not just because of the look. The tires rub pretty bad at about 3/4's turn. Unless you get the pro comp kit that has the off set radius arms, your tires will rub. If I could do it all over again, I would of never purchased the bigger tires. I already need them to be rebalanced, only 1500 miles on them too. You pay the price when you run bigger tires.

Here's mine the way the po had it.

36" military tires and no lift.

And how she sits now with still no lift and 33" tires

I rubbed only slightly with the 36" tires on my leaf spring.

I plan on a shackle flip, and I don't know why the pictures ain't showing, you can click on them and go to photbucket

What offset are you running? You may only need a new set of wheels or wheel spacers to push them out a bit.

I'm running 4" backspacing. It rubs pretty bad, and I don't want to push the tire out and put indo stress on ball joints and the works. I have really knobby tires though too.

Are those factory width wheels in the second pic? That looks pretty good.

I threw some New Cooper's on my '80 I will get some pics soon. White letters of course. They were bought brand new by my uncle and put on his Chevy which sat around mostly. Tires have less than 500 miles on them but Cooper doesn't make then any more.
