Getting all giddy.... should fire it off this week if the wheels don't fall off the wagon... it's being installed on the engine stand today...

it gets better mileage on the stand than in the frame !!!

asap I HOPE !!! I'm anxious to see if it's gonna fit... I'll either be jumping for joy or sitting in the corner crying..soon enough

engine guy surprised me.... what do you know about Quick Fuel carbs???... he put a 750 DP on it. 'posed to be easy to tune street carb with lots of low end grunt

never heard of them before.. seems they are more race origin (drag/circle) than street.. but must be the HR (HotRod) series.

Good looking engine. Similar to the one I hope to put back in mine this weekend. Based on the oil pan, I presume you are installing in something with a Mustang IFS in it? If so, did you build your own mounts or purchase them?

yes, it's going in a '53 with a MII... we fabbed the mounts...

Thanks for the pic. I am still debating about purchasing over fabbing. For the money, it may be worth it vice me trying to engineer them. Yours do give me some ideas though.
