Well have a few pics and small write up about these, nothing to Epic's quality thought.

First remove cover:

Second remove right nut and also I found removing the left one as well makes the next part easier.

Third you have to get the grey plate under the black lock tab. This is where taking both nuts off helped allowing the handle to fall out or down out of the way of the upper black tab. Once over the lock tumbler put it back together and tighten then add hose clamp.

Everything looks very tight and looks as though it would do an awesome job at preventing easy theft. Very strong product plan on doing the doors today. Also added this hose clamp too.

If you roll it around to where you can get it as tight as you can and take a flathead screwdriver and hammer and just roll it around to the bottom side it makes it where you dont have acces to clamp head. Just hope I dont need to get it off cause its going to be tough to get it back around due to the face that the back side of the clamp is smooth and nothing to catch.

Sweet. I like pictures. And colored ones at that.

As for the hose clamp, once it is turned so you can't get to the screw head, would a set of channel locks or needlenosed vise grips grip it? I've been going to get around to doing this mod myself some day. Thanks.

Thumbs up

Looks GREAT! I had never seen JJ's on a tailgate before. Heard about it...just not seen.

I had them installed on my doors...after an incident.

Did all 4 doors yesterday. They were very easy except for drivers door. It would have been easier if I would have figured out the shortcut before I started not after I was done. There is a rubber plug on the driver door that give you access to the top nut on your door handle, I used a swivel and it wasnt easy but figured it out once I was done.
