That's an idea Jeff, but its shaping up like we have quite a few people at this one.
Dave mentioned taking up a collection and ordering BBQ by the pound from a local place. It just so happens my wife does the books for one of the places we discussed so I'm gonna work that angle and see if we can get a discount or something... maybe not, couldn't blame them.. but it never hurts to try.

Midway, Ar?? As in 4 miles South of Scranton?
As long as nothing comes up I will be there. My wife didnt seemed thrilled about going or the general idea, so she is on the fence. Ones that are bringing kids, what age range are they? I would hate to bring my 3y/o & the others are 8+ and he is stuck with me checking out trucks & BSing. I dont mind it but he would have a better time.
The food, Ill get the stuff to make a big batch of slaw.
I would love to bring my grill & a small load of oak down but I cant, so used to using beer on the food & for myself Im not sure I can grill without it.
The ordering out the BBQ isnt a bad idea. More time visiting & I wouldnt mind pitching in for my(our) part.

I have 2 girls, at the time of the meet they will be 3 and 6.
Yea for this many people you'd have a full time job on the grill. No beer at this one, save those for our wrench parties when it's just us guys

I agree Scott, sounds like we might have a good turn out. Now if I could only catch a sneak peak at how the next bid period is going to turn out.
Mine are 11 & 6...with the boy being the oldest. I'm sure the kids will be reserved for a bit at first...but they'll more than likely have a grand time once they figure out they're not going to bite each other. You notice, he didn't saying anything about Root Beer. Bring on the Barq's!!

Not yet, the wife stays covered up and then some this time of year. I reminded her, she's gonna get a hold of them tomorrow.
Yep, that's the place. Pretty cool name for a bbq joint I thought.

Know right where it is,probably been right by your house, go between Bull shoals State Park and Mountain Home quite a bit, whenever camping there.Love to fish the White River below Bull Shoals dam, and have some nice fish there. Beautiful part of AR.
