FORD E450 V10 CHASSIS

Just bought a 2011 Class C with a E 450 V 10 chassis. Not sure if this is where I should be but, here I am.

The owner's manual from Ford is ok, but I would like to add a electric brake controller and don't know if this truck has the same electrical harness as one with the factory Tow Control.

Any long timers' input welcomed.

This is the first new Ford truck I've ever bought. I know, I know, been driving Dodges since 1985 except for the '79 Bronco I have for "other" fun times.

The factory Ford brake controller system is going to be expensive to install. Your better off going with an aftermarket controller.

Your van should have a plug under the dash where you plug the brake controller into. I went with a Tekonsha P3 on my 04' and got the premade harnes that plugs directly into the truck. All I had to do was mount the brake controller and plug the harness in and I was set. You should be able to do the same with your van.

Thanks guys, hoped it would be that easy. My 2005 Dodge 2500 was equipped with such a harness plug in.
