OK, there is a tick tick sound under the dash.
There is a bassy woof woof sound when the heater(only) air is on high.
And, when changing from vents to feet only and other adjustments like that, it dosen't always work. Sometimes the air is coming out of all areas!

The Tick Tick and Woof sounds go away when you turn the temp to blue/cold.

This is a 08 XLT extended cab.

Sounds like a faulty blend door actuator.

The actuator is it just a cable to a door? or electronically controlled?

Well, the sound does go away after you turn it from full hot to full cold - to me that would say that something is working no?

If it is the actuator - has anyone replaced this? is it just getting up under the dash and uninstalling, reinstalling?
