What was the last year of the diesel in the E-Series? 2008?

 

Yes ...I think some Cab / Chassis models still had some available as an option in 09 at least here in Canada...

 

The 6.0L Power Stroke turbo diesel was last listed in the U.S. 2010 E-Series brochure, as optional on E350 & E450 Super Duty Cutaway (limited availability).

 

I believe 2001 for the dependable diesel, the iffy six point uh oh came after that, and for the dedicated fans of it, that engine lost Ford contracts they had for 30+ years because repair costs and down time, the 7.3 is the best and last!

 

The last year for the 7.3 was '03. 6.Leaker came out in 2004.


But I'd never touch an E-series with a diesel passed 1994. The old non turbo ones are the best, really easy to work on considering.


Then again, I'd NEVER own a E-series pass 1992. They went from good old classic styling to modern BS, both inside and out.
