OBX Beach Driving - May cost $150/yr

The National Park Service issued a rule Friday that will require anyone driving on the beaches at Hatteras National Seashore on the Outer Banks to obtain a permit first.

Not happy with the fee. But certainly glad they haven't put the gates up. Because that's happening to alot of ohv
areas. We've been paying to drive down at Emeraled isle for quite a few years. Always enjoyed driving the beaches off hwy 12 and would consider paying the fee if we went enough to warrant it.
