Yeah...... that looks SWEET on the old Camper Special! Looks like you did a good job on removing some dents, too! It definitely is a lot better than some of those camo paint jobs!

Yeah, right after I got it I put a different bumper on the rear and then started knocking the dents back out. thought about running a smooth coat of bondo over them to, but kinda liked the character they gave the truck with the new paint. Looks like it's lived a little...lol<O</O

Looks awesome!

I've been thinking of painting a worn out US Roundel on my trucks door, after seeing your star I'm leaning even more towards of doing so.

Yep, good ol rattle can Rust-Oleum (Satin Deep Green) and some “off white” spay paint I had in the shop. 7 cans of the green came out to just over $35.00 with tax, I had the tape and the white paint and I made the decals on my computer with regular paper and double back tape. Then sanded the “<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com</st1:country-region>USA” and the star for a worn look. Worked for what I wanted it to look like.

That would look cool to, I say go for it. I've been driving the truck around today and I'm getting a lot of good responses to it. Have fun and make it what you want I really would like to have a bomber chick air brushed on the lower front fenders like the ol WWII bombers had, but I'm not going to spend the $$$ for someone to do that on this truck.

I'll probably do it.

Don't worry about air brushing the bomber chick, do you think they were airbrushed?

Get some art student to brush paint it, that's how they were done. I'm sure it won't cost you much, if anything.

P.S. How do you post pics? I tried but it didn't work out...
(if you click the question mark in my previous post, you see the image from my gallery but it won't show in the post)

True that, not a bad idea, I'll have to look into that.

Let's try again...
(this is from my gallery)

Seems to work, I thought this is what I did before.

So anyways, old roundel to the door, only problem is the size vs. placement so I'm still on a fence a bit.
