Thumbs up ReadyLIFT SuperDuty Anti Wobble Trac Bar Install

Hi all,

Take a look at this install video from ReadyLIFT. What do you think??? Does it seem like the solution to the SuperDuty "death wobble"???

IMHO...it looks like a really cool solution...just no experience with it. The install seems straight forward too. Humm...

Are you considering this track bar for your 2003 Super Duty?

Good to see you're still around biz! I am very interested in this fix too. The death wobble is my biggest problem. I will be interested to see what feed back we get on this...Brian

Hopefully someone will buy one and report back, maybe ready lift will let me "field test" one and I'll report back.

I will get one but before I do I will compare the one from W.C. Motorsports and the one from Ready Lift for quality and what is included for $800.

No. It is only for the 2005 and UP SuperDuty. I personally...do not have an issue with my SD.

I started the thread...in the hopes that someone out there experiencing Wobble or "death" wobble...run into this thread as an informational piece.

Actually...prior to creating this thread...I hadn't seen the cost of the ReadyLIFT unit. OMG...that is a ton of cash...for sure!

One current difference from what I can see...is that the W.C. Motorsports version is for lifted trucks only. The ReadyLIFT...has two different part #'s...to work with stock height SD's.

The construction of the track bar is different as well. The ReadyLift track bar "features a thick walled tube construction and CNC machined bungs welded to each end" while the WC Motorsport track bar appears to be a one-piece solid aluminum or SS construction with CNC bungs at each end.

Furian -- Right. They do appear to have a different construction...

dumb question: why is the ready Lift kit only available for 2005 and up, not the 1999-2004 trucks?

"Death Wobble" is a result of Ford's coil-spring front suspension (and radius arms) found in the 2005 to present Super Duties. I believe that Ford has addressed this issue in the newer Super Duties.

I have to agree! Icon sells an adjustable track bar to address the death wobble and it only costs $413.44. And there is nothing cheap about Icon products.

64031 - '05 - '11 Ford Super Duty Adjustable Pan Rod Bar with Bearing - ICON Vehicle Dynamics

This Adjustable Pan Rod Bar for the 2005 - Current Model Super Duties will realign your front end track alignment within factory specifications. It can be used on lifts from 2.5" up to 9". This bar can easily be installed using factory hardware and can be adjusted right on the truck without having to take it off. This Bar comes complete with our new spherical bearing rod end and rod end spcaers to eliminate the terrible death wobble these trucks have.

the front axle wobbles because some computer retard decided that a ball joint was good at holding the axle still. I thought a ball joint moves abck and forth? o thats right it does good going frod. Basically when you hit something in the road it causes the axle to move side to side because the ball joints moves side to side.
