79' F250 4x4 gear box from Redhead Steering

Fellas, I'm wanting to convert my 75' F250 Highboy's power assist power steering to a 79' intergal power steering. I keep hearing that getting a steering box from Redhead Steering, up in Seattle is the way to go. I am convinced. I called them and they said it would be approximately $329-350. That is without the core charge or shipping. Has anyone gotten one from them and is the price I listed a fair price??? Thanks, Shane

That's where mine came from. No issues yet.

Alot of diesel owners use them and love them and havent had any problems. That sounds like a fair price. I payed 180 for a reman back in 2000

How tight does the steering get with there boxes? Assuming tie rod and drag link there is no play.

I'm not sure how much play I will or won't have. I know that the factory Ford installed ones didn't have the needle bearings. The mill it and install them at Redhead.
