What to do to use 140 HP DP tune on my E99?

Ok, so i've read somewhere that due to my small 130cc injectors on my E99 I shouldnt run the 140 race tune. Also, I think I read somewhere else that my 15* HPOP cant keep up? Are there any other upgrades I should be looking at for my next step? Next injector problem or if I dont have any major repairs in the next year, I was going to upgrade to stage 1 160cc injectors. Do I need a better HPOP? I was thinking just the Terminator T500 if so. I'm nearing the end of what I would like to spend on my hp/mpg search, its a work truck. After that would probably be a new bumper, some paint/rust work, and a new stereo system.

You should put in the T500 now. You will really notice the difference. And I believe you have the 110cc injectors, the late 99 up have the 130cc injectors. When you put in the stage1's you have to reflash anyway so go with the 120 tune unless you just want smoke.

Pretty sure late '99 sticks are 140cc... the early ones are supposed to be 120cc, but flow more like 130cc. Either way, the OP is in the same boat I am. 50% throttle and that's it. Need more oil BAD and the 15* early pump doesn't help at all.

Jon it all depends who's tread you read. Some say 110 others say 120 and so on. Anyway you got the right idea. I put the T500 in mine as one of the first mods and love it. MPG increase at 78mph on the freeway in the 80e tune rose my mph by two. Also the throttle response greatly improved. Go to pass, no problem. Little more HPO never hurt anybody. Let us know what you do and how you like the mods.

Well, unless Joey comes out with something else before then, I'll be putting a T500 pretty close to the top of my "next mods" list. My mileage sucks and I'd like to get a little more go outta the old girl... got my Dad's 450-horse 6.4L to keep up with now.

Ok, so people are definitely on board with the T500. Good to know. Glad I'm going in the right direction. Thanks!
