All that I need to do is wire up the engine, hook up the couple vaccum lines that are left, hook up a oil filter relocation kit, and fill all the fluids up. Then she should fire right over. Put I still have to get different tires and shocks before I can start driving it.

Well guys been super busy. any ways got the engine all wired together and running, installed a msd ignition box and a msd ignition coil as well. I also painted the lip of the fenders the previous owners paint job was not a good one and had a ton of over spray and crap on it. Also got some tires mounted on the wheels. Bf good wrench radial ta 275/60/15 in the back and a 255/60/15 in the front. To help give it a slight rake. Also installed new front and rear shocks, and put springs compressers on the front coils to drop the front down to match the 2 inch drop in the front. So all I am waiting on now to drive the thing is a shortened drive shaft and a exhaust system. Well im done with my story here are some pictures.

Yea just hard to belive for me that it has been over 5 months since I started this. This is the longest any of my vehicles have ever been down, but I am sure once I get to drive her down the street it will be very worth it.

I was alwasy lucky with that, my wife loved cars, big motors and racing. She would go out in the garage and help me on the Nova by bagging and labeling stuff as I took it apart. Would even read the manual if I needed. Great for helping bleed the brakes too

Well today was another nice day out, so decided it was a truck day, at least till work. I have some new speakers and head unit I have had for a while, figured it would be something to do while I wait for a drive shaft. Here are some pictures of my progress.

Pioneer 6x9" in a box meant for single cab pickups, pioneer head unit, pioneer amp for the speakers, infinity cross overs, a no name amp for the subs I still need to get, lots and lots of wiring, Pioneer 5 1/4" speakers are already in the front doors.

Stock cassette player next to the new head unit.

Dirty Carpet before it got pulled.

Carpet and bench seat out, made 5 cents haha

Not all that bad, could be alot worse.

Here is the worst of the rust, I think alot of it is from my brake booster blowing out and leaking brake fluid all on the inside.

Sanded everything down, I can see the ground in a couple small holes, but I will address that later on, when I can get my hands on a welder. So just sprayed some rust preventive spray paint.
So I would like to but some sound denting material down on the ground before I put everything back in to quite the inside down some from the exhaust and future system.

You can fit much bigger speakers in there than those 6x9's if you'd leave the seats out like that

As you can see, I went the very inexpensive route on my stereo

The box's I have for the 6x9's fit perfectly wedged behind the seat, so i am going to steal the dimensons off the box and make a longer and taller version of it for either a single 10" or 2 10" subs and mount it between the 6x9's and mount the amps on the backside of the cab or under the seats, not sure yet.
