Dumped my 05 F350 DRW 6.0L. for a 2012 F250 6.2L. I love this truck the 05 only had 68000 on her but she was junk. I think this Truck will handle my 33' 5er better then that hunk of junk. Glad I went back to a gasser. I still have my 01 f250 V10 with 113000 on it and it runs better the the POS 6.0L

Just sold my "POS" '05 F350 4X4 KR 6.0L today, but not before buying a 2012 F250 4X4 KR 6.2L last week. And I'm not looking back. I'm through with diesels! I replaced the engine oil cooler on the 6.0L, only to have to back inside the engine eight months later to replace the high pressure oil pump, because the truck died on me three times in the same day on the Houston expressway. Not a fun thing to have no power steering or brakes in the middle of traffic at 70 mph. Little bit of a "Safety Issue" Ford Motor Co.... don't you think? If I didn't dislike Dodge and Chevy so much for Oilfield service reliability, I would leave Ford altogether. But, so far I love my new truck.

BIG QUESTION. There are hardly any dealers that have F250 6.2 in stock. They only have diesels. Why is this? I have asked and they shrug their shoulders. Are the gassers more popular and they can't keep them in stock? Or are they not as popular so they don't order that many?

I am going to order just what I want anyway so not concerned from that repect. Just really wondering the reason for this.
I am from Utah. At the dealer here. They have 20 6.7 psd and 2 6.2 gassers. They sell more6.7 so they order more. The people around here just want diesels. I can't wait to get rid of my sick o.

Don"t waste your money on the King Ranch interior (unless you like the emblems) because it is not the same quality leather as the older models and doesn't hold up. Unless you baby your truck!

Just traded my 2008 f-350 cc long bed 6.4 , I bought it new & hardly got to use it, it was at the dealership so much. It was a heart breaking truck. Every issue you could imagine. Total POS!!!! Good riddens. Now I have a 2012 f-250 6.2 super cab long bed, 4.30 gears. Only 300 miles so far, nice truck, so happy to be out of diesal land . Like others said the new diesal motors are no good. Poor milage, un reliable, high maintence costs, & if you think the 6.7 are any better I saw a new pne going down the road smoking so bad you couldn't see the road, just like mine used to every 200 miles or so. Sorry to rant, but I had such a bad experience with that truck I almost ,, dare I say ,, bought a Chevy.
