Nice truck. I just sold my 2002 V10 F250 for a 2009 F350 V10. Some of the mods that I did on my '02 was headers, a new y-pipe, k&n air filter, custom cat back exhaust with a dual outlet flowmaster (sounded real sweet). The best thing you can do though is get a hold of Mike at 5 star tuning and get custom tunes for it. I did all of the exhaust work before I got the tune, and none of that woke the truck up as much as what Mike did.

thanks and about how much did the tuning run cost wise?? same with the custom exhaust...right now im not looking to spend a large amount of money but would like it to sound a little meaner than it does now, and i dont really know a whole lot about exhaust systems so am kind of at a lose of knowing what to buy or not buy..

Are you positive that it's a legit Harley Davidson truck?

From what I remember and have seen over the years, specialty trucks like the King Ranch, Platinum Edition, Outlaw, Amarillo, and Harley Davidson F250/350 were available only in a Crewcab short wheelbase, with them 9 times out of 10 having 4wd.

With the right amount of cash and good paint guy, any paint scheme can be duplicated...

Still a nice truck though....

A neighbor of mine had a CC/LB earlier HD edition... it looked like an Allied moving van from a block away.

The tunes from 5 star were around $400. The cat back system ran $400 also. It was done by a custom exhaust shop local to me, and they did a great job. I did the headers and y pipe myself. The headers ran around $120 and the y pipe was around $100. I know the feeling of not wanting to spend a ton of cash at once. If I had to do it again, which I sort of did with the new truck, I'd go for the tunes first. As for my new truck, I'm leaving the exhaust alone for now. It's not as restrictive as the older ones.

yes i am sure it is a legit harley davidson truck i bought it from the dealer, and it is a 4 wheel drive..and it is stamped on the window ford and harley and the entire interior is done in harley davidson from the dash display to the seats being stamped harley and the center console having harley stamped on it..ive also seen the original sales receipt which stated all the original sales equipment and everything currently on the truck was on that receipt, and thank you for the info i have been wanting to get it tuned and do something with the exhaust, i think ill pry do the exhaust and then the tuning after, and i already have a kn air filter those things are pricey but well worth the money..any other ideas?

Good to know, believe it or not, I've run into a few and would have to see that you had a harley davidson paint job and an XLT or Lariat interior

The dealership I work at had a 2004 Harley extended cab in stock last year. It was gray and black with the V10 and it had 112, not 112,000, 112 miles on it. It still had the window sticker on it and plastic on the seats. I was thinking about it but I waited. Good thing I did. I wouldn't have got the 2009 Harley F350 I've got now!
