Blue Streak Camshaft??
I have a 79 f-150 4x4 with the 400 and a C6 trans. I was digging around the glove box and came acrossed all the receipts that the previous owner kept of all the work done to the truck during its 30+ life...a nice stack i might add! On one of the receipts, a machine shop in Eugene, OR called D&D engine rebuilders did a overhaul in 93' installed a blue streak cam in it? I have never heard of it or can find any info about it? Can any of you fellas help me out? Thanks in advanced!!

I did...spoke to a gentleman named Joe, he didnt really tell me much about it. Just said it was considered a RV/towing cam? Dont know any specs of the cam...if it is worth replacing with a mild cam from another aftermarket company? On the reciept it was only 68 dollars....keep in mind that was back in 93!!

IIRC, blue streak was a offchute of Crane. Leastwise, i seem to remember finding them right behind the crane cams in the parts books.
They were less expensive than some others, but there are only so many people who make cams. I'd say if you arent having an issue, it must be doing what it is supposed to.
don't know if you have the part number on the recipt, but you could probably just google that PN and see what comes up.

funny how memories seem so sharp, yet can be sooooo wrong.
i was thinking of Blue Racer cams by Wolverine.
still got the book, not that it is much help, other than to reassure myself that my memory isn't perfect.
sorry, didn't mean to mislead.
...edit...
looks to me like the Blue Racer name was purchased by who ever bought the Crane Cams name (comp?).
Blue Racer looks to be part of the Austrailian market. Stands to reason though, as i remember Wolverine being made by Crane Back in the late 90's
