Turbo 428 CJ FE
Looking into some simple answers for a 428 turbo build.
Should i go single or double? Where to buy? 7.3 turbo work? eBay?
What's an ideal compression ratio for a turbo motor? I'm running 10.3:1 with 91/94 octane gas.
Had a 770 Holley on this motor. Didn't work well. Holley tech said motor didn't create enough velocity to pick up check ball in metering block so I went with a 670 as advised and much better.
Question, with a turbo it adds air so do I know bump up to that bigger carb again to make up for it?
Total newbie but I need some pointers.
Thanks guys

You know you just can't pump air into a carb, right?
Have you ever installed a turbo? Can you afford to replace the entire engine two or three times to get your set up sorted out?
