Go to the yard and get a whole column?

That's a pretty good idea, I'm used to the yards not having anything I need, but things like this truck needs should be plentiful.

efrie, on your switch panel for the windows, if you go to the hardware store you can get a 2 part epoxy type stuff called plasti weld. You can useit to build up on the door panel a new area to drill holes and use the original screws to remount the switch panel. I have done it on both sides of the 95. It works great. I used masking tape on the door panel to make a bridge to poor the mix onto it. Then I just trimmed it and drilled new holes.

JB Weld would work just as well. Pretty much the same stuff.

Well I looked at the door tag, trans says U.

So which transmission is that, and is it worth a crap? Also, I fixed the door handle with a big washer, still gonna form myself a bracket with some plastic weld stuff of JB weld for the electronic controls, because it's bothering the hell out of me. Every time I shut the door the controls move.

Other than that, truck is running great!

The transmission you have is a 4r70w I believe. I don't know much about it, I'm sure someone does though!
