I believe the iso relay allows the fogs to come on only with the low beams.

So is the Ranger already wired for fog lights?

I believe yours should have everything but relays, switch and the lights.

One more question.....is there a coupling that already exists somewhere around the headlights where I can tie in the new fogs or will I have to splice them?

Thanks!

I can't seem to locate them. Can you give me a hint where they are at? They must be there since the switch wiring is already there.

Mine were hanging there off the front bumper rail, facing downward. I'll try to take a pic when I get home. On summer schedule now, I haven't been able to make it to the Ford dealer when the parts department is open to get the relays and verify the whole experiment.

Unhappy Foglights on '98

I checked along the rail but didn't locate anything. I have a feeling mine are stuck somewhere around the headlight assemblies but I can't figure out how to remove one of the lights to find out.

Here is how it is underneath (looking up) on my '98 Ranger which came with fog lamps as an option:

Thumbs up Foglights on '98

Many thanks Rockledge! I appreciate the trouble you went to to post these pics. I have looked in every possible place around the front of my truck for those darn couplings. They have to be in there somewhere since the switch coupling is in my dash.
Ahh well.....back to it.!
