Well just received news that the truck i was gonna buy in a week or two has burnt up. The guy lost his garage all is tools the truck his wifes van i feel sorry for him, I just told my wife the other day i felt something was gonna happen and i wouldnt get it. So now i guess the process starts all over. So if any of you know where there is a truck 87-96 in purty good shape with a price of around 2,500.00 i'd like to here about it. I'd prefer one with 300 6cyl and a 4 or 5spd.

Dang, that's crazy low miles for an '81.

I forgot to offer to sell you my "slightly used" '84 Ranger with almost 300k miles, no engine, a worn out tranny, and tons of rust LOL.

 

LOL, yea that needs a lil work then i'd say lol. I called the guy with the 81 he is the 2nd owner of the truck and knows the 1st owner. Can't wait to go look at it lol. I like the early 80s model but there so hard to find in decent shape. But as soon as i get it or another one i'll be sure to post pics

 

Good luck in your quest buddy. Sometimes luck is all there is to finding something good out there. Last June I picked up a 2000 Ranger in excellent shape. 3.0 with a 140,000 on it. All it needed was the left side head gasket. Got it for $750.00
