With all of the new members on the "wet" side I think it's about time you guys have a GTG! What do you think? Are ya up to the "job"?

 

Have been for 3 years! ............All we have to do is find time and a place.
That's where the trouble starts, too many differing schedules.

I think we should start small.........How about Evan and Jim and Derek and "joe13894" up there North of Corvallis, get together for some coffee?...........nothing fancy, just put faces to the names, and BS in person.

 

Sounds good to me! Just not to early. haha

 

Seriously, a few guys in fairly close proximity should meet up at a Denny's or IHOP and BS over some coffee...........It's a start.

Heck, if my schedule permits and the plant does not explode, I might even show up!

 

If you're coming up Dave, we should pick someplace a bit further South than Monmouth. Either way I'm game.

Saturday afternoon is a probably. Sunday afternoon is wide open.

 

I'm up for it. Anywhere between Salem, Springfield, or Junction City works for me. Anytime Saturday or late afternoon Sunday works for me this weekend.

We could always meet up at Pioneer Villa truckstop at the Brownsville exit on I-5.

 

Saturday & Sundays are fine with me - above the high water mark please.

Brownsville Truck Stop would be O.K.

 

Pioneer Villa was close to being submerged yesterday...

 

I can't this weekend. I'm going to be on the excavator 24/7 until I need to return it on monday morning.

Pioneer villa is about 5 minutes from me!

 

Well the flood waters are rising across the road from us, so I might be busy this weekend!

A few feet higher and we'll be getting wet!

 

Maybe we should look at next Saturday 01-28, after this storm stuff and flood worries subsides a little.

 

Well the river crested at 28 feet last night. Last time we had water come across the road it was over 30 feet, so we are ok for the most part.

Our back yard has knee deep water in it, but nothing in the main building. Our two lawnmowers were almost submerged, and my dirtbike had water halfway up the motor. Luckily it didn't get up to the carb or the exhaust port so nothing in the cylinder.

Next weekend would probably be better.

 

So, any idea where y'all would like to meet up? Having a set meeting place would probably help us get a better idea of what time/day would work for us...

 

I'm down with somewhere in eugene like Ihop, haven't been there in a while. Wish they'd remodel it though.

Not sure what the spread of us around the area is, but maybe a central point so everyone has to travel about the same miles? Just a suggestion.
