Axracer is painfully "right on" here. If a pusher failed to start, it was usually "pushed" over to the side and left until another could be fired up and brought over to do the task.

Still, I think a tribute to these old utilitarian beasts would be in order...slim

Thanks for the background info. This idea was more of a way for me to do something a little different with limited budget and time while paying homage to my dad. I wasn't trying to imply it was an accurate depiction.

Please, please build your truck the way YOU want it, and pay no attention to any naysayers. Some times we get caught up in what we think is "right" and come off as snobs. Sorry if I did.

So, welcome to FTE.....please keep us up to date with pics, etc. Looking forward to your build!

I saw this on HAMB and thought it was kinda neat. If I had my druthers, I'd have a '32 coupe that would match my '53 F100.
