Only reason for the x-codes is I can't find new v-codes and I'm tired of saggy suspension.
I know you had another thread about best riding lift. You may want to stay away from the X codes. The V codes are as stiff as I would want the front end and the lift will be the right height for a 5" block for level or 6" block for a 1" rake. I wanted mine to handle better than stock with a good ride and achieved that with the V codes.
You may want to try Tousley Ford for a quote on the V codes shipped to your house. I think I have seen quotes for the springs around $130 each before shipping.

The stock hangers and crash bar are removed. The new ICON crash bar bolts to the new front spring hanger. It mounts high enough that it is behind the lower valance and can not be seen. Here is what the bar looks like 34050 - 4.5" Hanger Bash Bar - ICON Vehicle Dynamics
Do you still have a part list of what you did to lift your truck. I want to do the same thing. I maybe a little different because its a f250 but i need something to go by for now.
