1982 Dual Fuel Tanks?

The 1982 4.9l auto I just bought was set up with dual tanks. Guy I bought it from put a bed from an '85 on it which is also set up for dual tanks. He did not put the front tank back in . All the works are there for the front tank except tank and straps. Question; What size tank would fit the front? 16 or the 19 gallon? My other 82 has the side mounted 19 gallon. Also are there any problems associated with the dual tank system on the '82s? Such as problems with the selector valve on the frame. Had an 83 rv that I had to replace the 6 port selector valve and a rear fuel pump but no other problems with the system itself.

Just be sure you get one with the right size hole for the sending unit (and you get the correct sending unit, non-EFI).
