You could always ask to see the receipt for the rebuild. You should be able to tell if it has any leaks or so it prolly wouldn't be a fresh rebuild.

How much are they asking out of curiosity?

Daaaamn Genius, post some pics why don't ya? Lol I thought you were gonna post a pic of the oil on the dipstick too...haha just messing with ya...it is a really nice truck...looks gorgeous for its age. I'd get it if the price was right!

Price

He is asking $5900 But I am hoping to get it for much less. What would you all suggest for a price?

WOW. Seller is nuts. I'd pay $3200 at the most. If it was 10 years newer and a 1 ton with a powerstroke, then I'd pay 5900. Not an 87 with a 302, no matter how many new parts there are.

Wow no kidding, where are some of these prices seeing here coming from?

Guess it help if guys would quit paying it or even entertaining the notion, hear a seller mention asking price such as that? Just walk away......run away fast.

i agree with this, for only being painted a year ago and blistering like that is a bad bad thing. not knowing how they did the work starting at 3k is a good point . 5900 you can find alot better
