06 F150 Trans question
Hey Gang,
Frequent traveler on this site, TONS of fantastic info here! Did a search for my most recent problem, no luck, so here goes:
2006 F150 4X4, 5.4 and I "believe" a 4r70w transmission. Not 100% on the trans, I could be wrong.
Recently changed an oxygen sensor on the cat, passenger's side. Had a heck of a time with it, and ended up breaking the electrical plug for the transmission, while removing the O2 sensor. The broken part is on the harness side, not the transmission side. Info I'm reading says this is a fairly common problem.
I've called a few places, and no one can even tell me what that plug is for. I'm guessing it's the main electrical connector for the trans, and evidently has something to do with the OD control.
Anyone know where I can get a plug to splice onto the harness? Or any more info on what it is exactly?
Thanks in advance for the help!
