Where might I buy these treadwright tires? Sounds like they might be worth looking into.

How much do the Coopers usually run price wise and will a 35x12.50 rub on my truck?
www.treadwright.com many different styles n sizes...i got bfgoodrich t/a style tread for $470 + $90 shipping to my door.. at 265 70 17

I found some tires that I like, but they only have them in one size. Here is the tires I found...

What do you guys think...will they fit on stock rims? That treadwright website really does have some good deals.

Nevermind, I just realized that the tires I listed above won't fit. My rims are actually 18" rims.

So I have narrowed it down to the Cooper Discoverer. This is the closest size to 35 that they come in..

35X12.50R18LT

I know my factory rims are only 7.5 inch rims, but will these tires still fit? I would really like to go with 35s if at all possible.

These are my second choice, will they fit better than the coopers?

I really like the style of the Nitto tires, but I really like the price of the Coopers.

Personally, I would NOT put a 12.50" wide tire on a 7.5" wheel. Too much buldge, and it'll likely wear uneven from the center to the edges.
Are you just looking for the biggest, meatiest, tire you can stuff in the wheel wells? There's nothing wrong with that, but that is just what it sounds like. I also think you're going to have issues with a 12.50" tire rubbing just about everything on the front end when you're not going in a straight line, on stock wheels - not enough offset.
The final thing...from one tire to the next...you are not going to see many fitment differences, except maybe if there are some serious side lugs (like on the Nitto Mud Grapplers) otherwise, a 35x12.50 from Cooper should fit damn near the same as a 35x12.50 from Nitto.

I don't really know for sure if a 35X12.5 would fit and not rub. The link I posted you to that other forum, those guys claim that it will fit on stock rims, but who knows?? Maybe start a new thread on here and see ask that question directly. There had to be some people on here running them with your exact situation(2.5in level kit and stock rims). Good luck on your choice

I agree with Chandler the 12.50 on a 7.5 rim is not a smart move. That would have a lot of bulge and might end up rubbing. Now on a stock wheel you will have very little with the kit you installed but once you move to an aftermarket wheel and the offset changes the rubbing will get worse.

The nittos that I posted above are not a true 12.50. They are a only like 11.75 in width. Will they not fit? and not rub.

EDIT: I think I have figured it out. I will be going with 285/75/18. These shoudl fit correctly right without rubbing?

Here is a link to a comparison between the factory tires (275/65/18) and the 285s...

You should be just fine with that size...my only concern would be with the M/T tread. It might stick out just enough to give a slight rub.
