Driver rear side sagging. Anyone seen this? PICS
Noticed today that my drivers side rear end is sagging a good 1.5" (Hopefully you can tell in the picture)
I went around and measured and there is 9.5" from tire to fender on both sides of the front and 11" from tire to fender on passenger rear and 9.5" tire to fender on driver side rear.
3 of the sides measure 9.5", could my passenger rear at 11" just be jacked up too high somehow?
All of the body lines are perfectly straight, so my bed is not out of whack.
Could this be my rusty azz old shocks? Or a leaf spring issue? (Let's hope it's cheap either way)
Thanks for any help!

My bet is springs, you could take the shock off entirely and it wouldn't change anything - it's not even compressed all the way. Can't tell from the pic you posted, but do the leaves look flatter compared to the other side? If you have a spring shop in the area they can re-arch them or install new ones.

first obvious thing that comes to mind, is your front pass wheel jacked up really high on uneven ground?
second thing, maybe a leaf cracked and fell out, I would check that, just make sure the count is the same on both sides, and that the blocks are the same size.
third thing, your to fat and have worn out the drivers side suspension lol just kidding

Driver's side lean. Pretty common on these trucks once they get some age on them.
Here's a thread I posted on the subject a while back....

New spring or air bag?
There is always something to worry about (and spend $ on)

nothing more than the driver side sag in the rear spring. Caused by all the weight of the driver and full tank of gas or diesel. Most either swap the rear springs which helps for a while. other's with air bags keep 5psi more in the leaft bag. I added a leaf spring to each side which fixed my problem, gave me the payload the truck should have had, and a 1/2" of rear lift.

I haven't done anything about it, just living with it.
One reason is, mine isn't a constant sag. I couldn't shim (or adjust with air bags) any certain amount to fix it. The sag on mine varies depending on where I'm parked, how the front wheels are turned, etc. So, I didn't do anything and I don't even notice it anymore
If the sag gets real bad I'll probably replace the springs one of these days.

Not a big deal. If you have a spring shop or a truck shop that does springs, it really shouldn't be terribly expensive. Re-arching them would obviously be cheaper assuming they're not broken. Either is certainly cheaper than Ford.

Did do a quick check last night, doesn't look like there are any broken springs.
Also found a take off spring at the junkyard online for $75. I guess I am hoping I can find a right rear spring somehow because chances are the left could be bad at the junk yard as well.
I will keep you posted.
