Cam choice

I think I'm going to get that Crower stage 4 cam. I spoke with a pro engine builder, and he too thinks they got the wrong description in the catalogue.

I see Summit is now carrying Howard's cams for the 240/300. I don't know anything about them. Can someone fill me in on this company? Quality? etc.

They have some decent specs too, considering there's only 3 choices. The biggest one says nice idle, but I'm thinking it'll have a slight chop to it.

That one they have, IIRC, with 212 duration @ .050, with the .480 valve lift, would be just about a comp 260 with 1.7 rockers on!

The two cams I like are the crower #19213 cam, and the Accelerated Motion #21378. But the A.M. cam is from Canada, and that would mean extra postage and probably a customs fee too. That could kill it right there.
