1992 ford f150 led lightbar for under tailgate

i don't have the truck with me right now because its at my dads so i was wondering is there enough room under the tailget to put a light bar that is nicely visable from behind? also would i need the 49" or 60" light bar?

Yep, I see tons of trucks running around with only half of the strip lit up. My opinion is that they are junk.

You need the 60" but be very careful with your placement when you install it. There is a very fine line between high enough to be visible and low enough to avoid the lower lip of the tailgate when it closes. And I don't mean when it's closed, I mean as it's being closed. At least it was with my aftermarket bumper, although all rear bumpers were aftermarket...

Not all rear bumpers are aftermatket. There are a few that are OEM Ford.

He makes a good point though about tailgate interference.

I believe that's yet another product from Lund that they no longer make since being bought out.

Wonder if the line of fires would cause trans issues because of the LEDs... But since they are used WITH the tail lights they shouldn't.. Hmmmm

Ive been wanting one.

I like your backdraft too. I kinda want one but if I put my tonneau cover back on it wouldn't fit..
