ignition troubles need help please

Okay so the other day i was drivin my 88 300 six efi down road when started cuttin in and out finally died every since then wont start, replaced spark plug spark plug wires, new ignition control module, and it wont start every time i go to crank it just back fires on me real bad blew my muffler completly up im out of ideas help anyone

hopefully one of the EFI guys will chime in- this is a little newer than i'm used to working on.

if you blew the muffler up, that was gas getting into your exhaust, and then getting lit (ie- flooded).

when it started cutting out on you, were you getting any black smoke out the tailpipe?
maybe an injector is leaking?

any codes?

no black smoke that i could see and i havnt had a chance to hook code scanner up to it but ive never seen nothin like this it really has me confused

Take off the Dist cap and see if you can turn the rotor by hand.
