Shop Visit!!! Parts Delivery Cool Pics

I went to Paul's shop today to deliver my engine and transmission. Here are some pics of a truck he just finished.... I really like his work.

I just threw up in my mouth.

His work might be top notch, but the design is awful, IMO. Glad he made a Chevy truck even more uglier.

Interesting.

Looks like quality work. Maybe if he would have done something with the front wheel wells....smoothed them out or something. Right now it kinda looks unfinished.

Still, I wish I could do that kind of work

I kinda like that wheel well line to it, not sure why. Took me a while to recognize it as a 47-early 55 Chevy (sorry, I know it's a Ford forum, but I like those trucks)

The front wheels need to be about a foot back, add MII suspension, and cut off the frame horns. JMO... But few fat-fendered vehicles look good without fenders. Quick Paint chop...

I only posted pics to show his work. My truck will not be as complex. His work is great. This project was just some parts he put together....

Ha ha!

I agree with others who say his work is good, but the design is just plain ugly.

I do like the tires.

His work looks nice, but I wouldn't let him do no designing on your truck.

There will be no design changes to my F1. I do not even like the idea of a chop roof. My goal is pretty simple. Modern drivetrain with standard looks. Going for relaiablity and you have to look deep to find the upgrades.

Quality work, but unfinished design, IMO.

I would add a Dodge Prowler's front fenders, cut the front frame off, and add the Prowler's front bumper. That'll give it a Prowler's pickup vision, in an old Chevy way.

I'm glad other posted with their opinion before I saw the picture. I would have politely not posted my opinion because I agree with everything said about the truck. I am a stocker, I rarely like any design changes on old sheet metal so I'm biased to begine with. I've only seen one truck that was ultra modified that I really liked. A guy on the HAMB did it and I posted pictures of his truck before but I think it belongs here:
