I have a 2013 V6 FWD XLT and I get over 25 mpg on the highway if I drive 72 mph or less. If I drive 75 plus I get right at 24 mpg. The other day I drove these 2 lane 55 mph farm highways and got 31.9 mpg ( this is not a typo) by setting the cruise at about 57 mph. Around town I get between 20 and 21 most all of the time. I live in Florida and the roads are pretty flat. Very pleased with the gas mileage.

 

I have a 2013 Limited with the Eco Boost and I am kicking myself for not getting the V6. While the power of the EcoBoost is ok, the fuel economy is terrible. I'm getting about 18 mixed and 22 on the highway. That's a far cry from the 28 I should be getting on the highway.

I'm hoping that it gets better as it breaks in. I don't have high hopes for that though.

 

2013 xlt Eco boost. We just traveled 900+ miles from North Louisiana to Orlando florida. We averaged 24.5 MPG.

I love it for the MPG. The money my wife will save every month will pay the note.
