1951 F-1 Radio delete plate?
#2
I have the same problem with my 51. I see them on e-bay sometimes but they sell for more then i want to pay, radio or cover plate. The cover plates were more used in the bigger trucks i would guess,so if you saw one in your area it might pay to check it out. The passenger car radio will fit from one of the years ,but i don't know which one.

Our radio is in the glovebox & the amp & speakers are under the seats.
Keeps the old dash look but you get modern Kenwood radio set up - My 19 year old son was very interested in having the ability to play his Ipod music in the truck. I think he would have shot me if I showed up with the 1950 radio - some times you have to bend to modern conveniences like cupholders, radios, & A/C. Just my take - don't shoot me.

It's just like mailing anywhere. You put it in a box and take it to the post office. Postage will be a little extra and you may have to fill out a customs form declaring what's in the box, but that's it. A radio plate should fit in one of those small usps priority mail boxes. That makes life really easy.
