Manual Steering

I was just curious what the manual steering box ratio is compared to a powered one?

Manual steering gear: model SMA or SMA-W: ratio: 24:1 : Turns of steering wheel lock to lock, pitman arm removed: 6 turns.

Power steering gear: FORD : ratio: 17:1 : Turns of steering wheel lock to lock with pitman arm removed : 4 turns.

Power Steering Gear: Saginaw: ratio : 17.5:1 : Turns of steering wheel lock to lock with pitman arm removed : 4 turns

According to the Haynes manual -
17:1 with power steering, 24:1 with manual.
