I bought an '88 F-250 with an ATS turbo. It had the boost and exh temp gauges laying in the console. I found the sending unit and "plumbing" for the exhaust temp gauge but haven't found the boost wiring yet. What does the boost sending unit look like and where would it be?? Is it on the manifold, or turbo? Is it a sending unit and wire or a tube?? The gauges are ATS gauges.
i just got my turbo added to my 88 7.3. turbo was a donor from a 93. Garrett turbo. i was wondering the same thing wit the boost gauge. going to get it tommorrow. Let me know how yours worked. or maybe a pic of how this is hooked up. thanks
On the ATS 093 turbo, there should be a 1/8" pipe plug in the intake hat. Remove the plug and connect the boost gauge to that spot. The boost gauge should have a small tube, and the connector to mate the tube to the intake hat.
