Timbren Ride Control

Timbren Ride Control
Anyone here ever hear or use Timbren rubber Springs? I went to the local spring shop here in Boston to see what they say about the front sitting nose down. The options they offer are add one leaf spring. Yeah great, so my kidney can pop out from the stiffness. Also, he said it will raise it 3 1/2" - 3"'s? How, with one leaf?
Or, put Timbren rubber springs on the front. You don't add air to them and he says it will level out the truck. With the plow it may sag a little.
Just curious if anyone had experience with these rubber springs.

Timbren Ride Control
I just put a set on my X. Haven't towed with them yet. They replace the factory bump stops. On the X, the fronts rest on the springs and on the rear, there is about a 1" air gap, so they do not affect the rear until you put on a load.
Just driving the X, the fronts firmed up the ride, but did not make it harsh. There is no thump of hitting the bunp stops. Someone who has tried both said that he thought that the Timbrens and stiffer springs were about the same, maybe the Timbrens making it easier to feel road irregularities.
The Timbrens are $150/set and take about 30-35 minutes to install. Might be worth a try before you go to the trouble of the springs.
