Lie-o-meter issues
As soon as I got into the Ex this morning, the lie-o-meter started in with some real nastiness. It just kept toggling back and forth with the two images below.
I couldn't figure out how to set it for 'Florida'!

I had mine show up with the "ICE" a few weeks ago....it was in the really low 30's @ ~ 5:30 a.m. Later in the morning, back to normal.. IIRC, that is a "Heads-Up" warning that shows. If I had my manual with me, I'd confirm and / or quote it.....
Forgot I had printed copy in vehicle, and it is my week to drive! The manual says "If the outside temperature falls below 3°C (38°F), the display will alternate from "ICE" to the outside temperature at a two second rate for one minute."

its actually very easy to fix. if you remove it and have soldering iron. there probably a bad soldering joint right under the lcd screen. i fixed mine. took longer to remove the console from the ex!

I have had it out a couple of times. Maybe once more for luck now that I have an idea where to look. Thanks.

From page 60 in the owners manual:
Outside air temperature
The temperature can be displayed in Centigrade or Fahrenheit by pressing the E/M control.
If the outside temperature falls below 3°C (38°F), the display will alternate from “ICE” to the outside temperature at a two second rate for one minute.

Mine has yet to show any inclination of protecting me from this dangerous "ice" you speak of, even as I was driving through 28 degree weather with 2" of slush on I-68 through frostburg. It similarly failed to warn me about liquid's potential to turn solid this morning then it simply made me aware that it was NINE degrees outside. Its accomplice, the HVAC, did warn me that it was only twenty degrees inside.
