Hello ford fans I have found a 1997 f350 that was rolled,
I would like to swap in the front and rear diff's into my early 99 f350 for the 4.10 gears and limited slip rear, is a 97 and 99 interchangable, what would be the easyest way to swap? thanks.

Short answer, no.

Different bolt patterns, brakes and I don't think the springs pads are in the same location. Width may not match either. It could be done, but would be far from a bolt in swap.

2 totally different generations of truck. The rear axle will fit but it is a 10.25 with drum instead of the 10.5 with disc you have now. So the ABS won't function and its a step in the wrong direction. The front axle is a no go without some serious work. Besides you would need to buy all new rims because 99+ went to metric pattern.
