5-speed shifter is loose in gear

Sounds like you need the m50d shifter bushing repair kit!!!
Pretty easy just pull carpet back take of inspection cover remove shifter (install bolt on otherside and tighten. Once this is done take off the 3 torx bolts on top of shifter cover and inspect your bushings! If they are gone (mine were) let us know I or someone else can help with the install

Buddy,I can use your help! Mine is a 1987 F250,460c.i.4speed....it's really sloppy...I can use all the help I can get including any pics anyone has!
