Help a college kid pick his next mod? thanks!
First post here, I heard that ya'll know your stuff in this forum and I was hoping for some of that wisdom! I drive a 95 powerstroke with baby swamps and swamps tunes. Napa 6637 air intake, 3 in downpipe to 5 inch straight. luk clutch and solid flywheel and stock 5 speed manual.
I am LOVING how the truck is running since putting in the new injectors and tunes, but the diesel sickness calls for more! I've been thinking E-fuel should be next but I am all ears for suggestions for what I should do next. Thanks in advance!

Man! Thanks for such a quick response! I forgot to mention that when i bought the injectors, made sure I got autometer pyro and boost gauges.
Intercooler huh? what are the best options for those? off of a later (ie 2000) superduty or? E-fuel and new HPOP probably interest me the most and I'll have a budget of about 1500-1700 by the end of the summer. This was my grandpa's last truck (he ordered off the line) before he passed so its a lifetime keeper. My goals are safe power-I dont need to go over-the-top on anything. I loved the difference that the injectors made but i want to keep them running optimally. This is not a hard towing truck (has 3.55s), its an open road cruiser and fun to play around with in all the mountain passes here in washington state.
Thanks again for being welcoming and kind to a newcomer, let alone a young guy!

Ah! Correct you are sir-it does have 3.55s. Idk what made me think it had 3.73 But excellent-how has the irate e-fuel treated you? I was looking at the dieselsite CPR e-fuel kit but that is 1500 rather than a 1000-so, considering constant tuition increases- irate suddenly peaks my interest haha

I like my Irate e fuel. It is a complet well put together kit that uses quility parts and common fuel filters. The instructions are kinda hard to follow, but i have the steps in one of my threads. But there are cheaper kits out there too that are working good. I went with irate cause thats where i got my turbo kit from, and i dont have the time to make a diy system.

Another cheap one you should consider is the 203° thermostat. The 7.3 loves to be warm.
Also another good cheap mod is the EBPV delete. You can delete it yourself or buy a replacement housing that has it deleted for you. If you combine that with a deleted cat and muffler, you can really make some noise and hear the turbo workin'.
And, lastly alot of people convert their IDM to 140V. I haven't done that one yet.
All the other suggestions are good too.
